Read this brief interview with Sabumnim Chuck Niemi in the
Oct. '09 issue of Mile High Sports magazine:
Mr. Niemi has over 35 years experience in the
martial arts
and has also trained in judo, jujitsu, karate,
and silat.. He began training in taekwondo in
1973. He is a 3rd degree black belt. He earned
his 1st degree black belt in 1982.
In 1982, Mr. Niemi earned his BA in
Social Work
at Colorado State University. He worked in Denver
for the Division of Youth Services as a counselor
with incarcerated juvenile violent offenders. He
taught a taekwondo class for 5 years with these
juvenile offenders at the institution.
